Sunny Card

Did I mentioned I have jury duty tommarrow? on my list of things I need to know is I can not wear sweat pants?? and I can't bring scissors, there goes my craft idea lol and I have to be there at 7.45am still looking for a scissorless project I can do.

Alice card, embroidery project and Julia's project

Made this card for a few challanges. We saw Alice this weekend, not exactly what I expected from a Tim Burton movie.

Made this quilt block out of minky fabric and my embroidery machine reverse stitched letter to make it pop out.



Julia wanted me to share this flower she made at school today it is an abromelade that only grows in the rainforest.

Embossing with the Slice










It turned out cuter than I expected it to. I was at M's and found a roll of red craft metal, and thought it might be neat to try ( it was on clearance as well)

this is the up side and the nthe same sheet in reverse, this is a heavy foil, I tried it on kitchen tinfoil and it tore it up, granted there are 3 sizes of embossing nibs, and I was using the medium sized one. Need to ask my husband if he has a heavier grade foil at work he can bring me to try out :)
